The ability to document moments in time is one of the reasons I love photography. On this particular Sunday, storm clouds had been forming all day, leading us to believe that we would either have to spend our time indoors or suffer the rain. Not exactly the perfect day for a photography adventure. However, despite the rain clouds chasing us over the mountains, they dispersed quite suddenly. This unexpected turn led to one of the best spring days this year - full of beautiful sunlight filtering through the clouds, open meadows filled with wildflowers, bear sightings, and a drive through lush forest. My words can't do the day justice, so here it is in photos. Part of me wishes I had captured more to share and remember, but sometimes you just have to enjoy the time that is there.
